Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Effective Date: January 1, 2024

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to IP transit, internet access, and amenity Wi-Fi services provided by Lightboard (“Services”).

Acceptable Use

Services may be used only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations and in a manner that does not interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of Lightboard’s networks, facilities, or other customers.

Prohibited Activities

Users may not use the Services to:

  • Engage in unlawful activity
  • Cause or attempt to cause network disruption, congestion, or degradation
  • Introduce malware, malicious code, or participate in abuse (including DDoS, scanning, or spoofing)
  • Interfere with the use of the Services by others
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass security or access controls

Lightboard does not monitor or inspect customer content and does not assume responsibility for user traffic.

Enforcement

Lightboard may suspend or limit Services, with or without notice, where necessary to protect network stability, security, legal compliance, or the rights of others. Where feasible, Lightboard will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

Responsibility

Users are responsible for all activity conducted using the Services and for securing their own systems and devices.

Changes

This AUP may be updated from time to time and is effective upon posting.
